Our Story

Forever Starts Here

Jay and James met at Second Story Bar—one of those ordinary nights that quietly turns into something extraordinary. Jay was immediately struck by James’ kindness, the kind that felt genuine and rare. James, on the other hand, couldn’t help but fall for Jay’s outgoing, extroverted spirit—the way Jay lit up every room and made everyone feel at ease.

What started as a simple meeting soon became something much deeper. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and before they knew it, months had turned into years—each one filled with laughter, growth, and love.

Then, two years ago, in the warmth of their kitchen, James asked Jay a question that would change everything.

And Jay said yes.

Tiffany - Maid of Honor

Tiffany isn’t just Jay’s little sister—she’s been his constant, his safe place, and his partner through every adventure, big or small. From escape rooms to far-off travels and everything in between, she has stood beside him through laughter, challenges, and countless unforgettable moments. More than family, she’s Jay’s best friend, his confidante, and one of the people he loves most. Meet his Maid of Honor.

Dianne - Bridesmaid

When Dianne moved from Alabama, Jay quickly found a friend who would become so much more. From day one, they shared laughs, adventures, and supported each other through every challenge. Over time, their friendship grew into something deeper than just friends—it became family. She’s been there for him through everything, always loyal, always caring, always by his side. She proudly said yes to be one of his bridesmaids. Their friendship is and will be ALWAYS AND FOREVER

Crystal - Bridesmaid

When Jay first moved right before freshman high school, everything felt new and unfamiliar—until he met Crystal. From the very beginning, Crystal had a way of making a place feel like home. Most people drift apart after high school. Crystal crossed paths with Tiffany years later “and just like that” Jay and Crystal are back together. They’ve shared unforgettable moments filled with laughter, loyalty, and love. Crystal has been Jay’s protector, his bodyguard and above all, his best friend. Crystal will stand proudly by his side—not just as one of his bridesmaids or protector or best friend but his unofficial bodyguard.

Kym - Bridesmaid

From the very first moment, Jay felt like he’d known Kym forever. There was a warmth and connection that went beyond words, and in no time, she became someone he truly cherishes—one of his bridesmaids. James and Kym’s friendship grew quickly, built on a shared love of pets, kindred minds, and free spirits. Their connection was natural and effortless, and it’s clear from the start that their bond is one full of warmth, laughter, and mutual admiration.

Alyssa - Bridesmaid

Jay’s friendship with Alyssa began in a beautifully unexpected way—she became the big sister he never had. Through mischief, differences, and all of life’s changes, their bond has only grown deeper. No matter the distance between them, the love and loyalty they share has never faded. She said yes to standing beside him as one of his bridesmaids.

Peter - Best Man

Peter is James’ nephew and godson, and he’s had the privilege of watching him grow from a young boy into the man he is today. Over the years, their relationship has become more than family—it’s become a true friendship. They share many interests, including a mutual love for fragrances, but even more than that, they share deep respect and love for one another. Ryan - Groomsmen

Ryan has known Jay and James both together and separately, with friendships that started casually at the bar and grew into something much more. With Jay, it turned into hanging out, making memories, going to concerts, being a super-hero to Ryan’s dog when he was missing for weeks and even having Jay as a room-mate temporary before he needed to leave for New York. With James, it grew into dinners out, musicals, and plenty of shared adventures. That’s why it felt perfect to ask Ryan to officiate this special day—and just as fitting that James chose him to stand beside him as one of his groomsmen.

Casey - Groomsmen

Casey is James’ other nephew, and their bond is built on shared passions and genuine admiration. From cheering on the Packers to enjoying a good beer together, they’ve always connected easily. Casey is an incredible father to his daughter, and the love he shows his wife is the kind of partnership James hopes to have with Jay. Free-spirited, fun-loving, and always up for a good time, Casey’s energy mirrors James’s own. That’s exactly why James chose him to stand by his side as one of his groomsmen.

Marcus - Groomsmen

Marcus was chosen to be one of James’s groomsmen not just because he’s a killer cook and a certified grill master—though let’s be honest, that alone almost secured the role. We’ve reserved a block of rooms at nearby hotels for our guests’ convenience. These accommodations offer a range of options and are located close to our wedding venue to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Booking within our room block ensures a discounted rate and keeps everyone close together for the celebration weekend. Hotel blocks typically reserve a set number of rooms at a fixed rate, making travel planning simpler for guests.

We recommend booking early, as rooms may fill quickly.
